The Windmill

There is a little historical treasure buried right in the middle of our town.

It is quite surprising how many of the younger generation from our town are not even aware of it's existence or have even seen the pictures of the windmill that once dominated the skies of Warrenpoint.

It dates from around the beginning of the 1800's and was used as a flour mill.

Here is some pictures of it today. Due to the businesses that surround it, there is no public access....

But here it lies!
