The Parade

A nice day always makes the difference. The weather was great and a huge crowd turned out for the Maiden of The Mournes Festival closing parade.

By the way, for those who had not heard, the Maiden of the Mourne 2015 was won by the Russian Maiden, Sonya Natarova.

The parade was excellent. We had Canon Kearney and the newly crowned Maiden in a World War II US Army jeep, wrestlers, young martial artists and lots more.
