Train Station Model

Local man Cathal O'Hara has brought life back to the old train station in Warrenpoint. He started work on a model of the Warrenpoint Train station in February. His target for completion was this week - Festival week - to display his work.

It is a fantastic piece of work. It will be an education for those of us who do not remember the station and a trip down memory lane for those who do.

The model is on display at St Peter's Parish Centre on Peter Street. Opening times for the display will be in the morning and evening - Friday 13 August. This has been on display form Wednesday.
