Festival of Flight Newcastle

The Festival of Flight in Newcastle had some superb highlights despite disappointment at the news that the Red Arrows would not be in attendance. The Red Arrows had to cancel their performance due to technical difficulties.

1000's of people lined the streets of Newcastle to witness the display of air acrobatics.

We had a display from the Irish Coastguard team of a man being rescued from a boat - Let's hope that none of us ever need them.
