BBC visits St Dallan's for Famine Discussion

Just came across a BBC video of their visit to St Dallan's School in Warrenpoint. Pupils from around 30 schools came to St. Dallan's to hear writer Marita Conlon-McKenna in September 2015.

Marita wrote the book Under the Hawthorn Tree which is a children's book set at the time of The Famine in Ireland.

The book is about three children and their struggle for survival through the horrors of the Famine.

There are a number of the St. Dallan's school pupils interviewed in the piece.
