Ireland's Rebellion
Saturday 16 April will see Warrenpoint Town Hall transported back 100 years!
Ireland's rebellion in music, drama and poetry is a local production to mark the one hundred year centenary of the Easter Rising in Dublin in 1916.
The performances on the night will have music and song from local musicians. There will be pageantry with the performers dressed up in the uniforms of the time. We will hear from some of the key players of the Easter Rising.
Big crowds are expected by the organisers. This is definitely one for anyone who has an interest in Irish history.
Doors open at 7.00pm with the production commencing at 7.30pm.
