Community Centre for Warrenpoint
There is a public meeting at the Balmoral on Wednesday 6 April 2016.
The purpose of this meeting is to continue the momentum of the campaign to secure a community centre for Warrenpoint. The public meeting will be attended by local representatives.
It is vital that everybody gets behind this campaign - particularly community groups, charities, clubs and hobby groups. With a united community behind this push for a centre, it is an issue that cannot be ignored.
There can be no doubt that it is something that is needed in a town with a large population with so many diverse interest groups.
This must come under the one umbrella where the message is clear, focused and united.
Well done to the Community Centre for Warrenpoint for pulling this together.
Local councillors are there to represent us but we have to make sure that we demonstrate to them that the will and determination is there as a community to make sure our town gets the things it needs and deserves.
It is well worth taking a bit of time to read through the comprehensive report that had been commissioned by the Council on the feasibility of a community centre in Warrenpoint - you can download that report HERE
