Last Orders at Easter!
Pub opening times Easter Northern Ireland
As Warrenpoint looks forward to the Easter Holidays, the question always arises at what time the pubs closes over the holidays?
On Good Friday , you will not be able to get a drink of alcohol until 5.00pm and the pubs will close at 11.00pm.
The Northern Ireland Assembly had initiated a consultation process on amending pub opening times but there is no change to the law on the horizon yet. This has caused much frustration to pub owners and revellers alike.
This must seem extremely odd to any foreign visitors coming to our town and country during the Easter Holidays.
It has been estimated that these restrictions cost the pubs and hotels a loss of revenue in the region of £16 million over this weekend!
It really is time for change! We as residents here should be allowed the choice during one of the biggest public holiday time of the year not to mention visiting tourists!
