Sailability

Today, we welcomed the 4 cruisers who have been on a round Ireland cruise to the shores of Warrenpoint. This sailing expedition is a project by Sailability.

Sailability is established for the enjoyment of sailing by disabled people. This includes learning to sail, recreation and competition.

We are lucky to have our own local centre if you or a family member might be interested in taking part. Carlingford Lough Sailability is a Charity committed to improving the quality of life and well being of children and young adults with special needs, together with their siblings and the families as a "unit".

Eliminating barriers of opportunity, they support and encourage each individual to reach their full potential through the recreational activity and holistic therapy of sailing. They recognise the true ability and see past what is the disability.
