What has that to do with us?

Well, you see those words were written by the great C.S. Lewis - author of the Chronicles of Narnia - who was born in Belfast, travelled the world but always loved the Mournes and Carlingford Lough.

Take a walk into Kilbroney Park today and your world transfoms into one of magic, folklore and fun.

In a letter to his brother, Lewis wrote 'That part of Rostrevor which overlooks Carlingford Lough is my idea of Narnia.'

Well, it's coming to life now - the kids will love it and the adults too. This is a true celebration of our culture and once again we are on the map as the jewel in the crown of the North of Ireland.

We must say it is another triumph to Kilbroney Park and all who run it.

In the words of C.S :

'I yearn to see County Down in the snow, one almost expects to see a march of dwarfs dashing past. How I long to break into a world where such things were true.'
