Leitrim lodge was transformed into a big budget film set as the location for filming of the HBO hit, Game of Thrones.
It is wonderful that the makers of the show have chosen our country as a location and it is brilliant to have them film in our locality. Local fans of the show can look out for the area when the show airs.
Game of Thrones films on location across Northern Ireland and in Titanic Studios in Belfast and the Linen Mill Film Studios in Banbridge. Game of Thrones received funding from Northern Ireland Screen supported by Invest NI and part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
